Highway Characteristic :
The highway is a dual carriageway, 2 lanes in each direction. a closed toll system and designed to accommodate five toll plazas at each of the planned five interchanges along the entire expressway.
Interchanges :
Sungai Long Interchange - links to SILK in the south.
Bandar Mahkota Cheras Interchange - connects to Persiaran Mahkota Cheras.
Hulu Langat Interchange - connects to Jalan Hulu Langat.
Ampang Interchange - links to Jalan Lembah Jaya at Ampang.
Ukay Perdana Interchange - connects to Jalan Ukay Perdana at Ukay Perdana and indirectly connects to MRRII and DUKE.

Benefit to Highway :
Encourage balanced urbanisation on the Greater Kuala Lumpur to sustain a rapid growth to achieve high income growth nation;
Provide efficient, reliable and safe mobility of goods and people;
Provide functional linkage between the urban centers and ensure equitable distribution of income;
Support economic growth for the rakyat Selangor especially in Kajang and Hulu Langat.
